BROOKLYN, New York (December 29, 2014) — Following a string of delays, the SpringFestNY Executive Committee announced that its next SpringFestNY anime convention will be postponed indefinitely. This will be the first time in a decade that the convention will not be held.

“This decision comes as a result of several major delays. These delays made it nearly impossible to provide the quality content and experience that we strive to provide our fans each year.” said Michael Kelly, Head of Public Relations.

However, this does not signal the end of SpringFestNY. In place of SpringFestNY 2015, the SpringFestNY Executive Committee will be hosting a series of small scale events  leading up to SpringFestNY 2016 which is still scheduled to occur. When asked to elaborate on what he wanted attendees to take away from this announcement, Kelly added, “We are grateful for your support thus far and we hope you will continue to support us as we move forward.”
