Volunteer your time at SpringFestNY to make it an even better anime convention than the last. As a volunteer, you will gain real life experience of running a convention and have fun in the process of doing so. There are three different roles for Volunteers at SpringFestNY 2014:
- Herding/Street Team – Responsible for orienting patrons to panels and events, as well as maintaining panel/event areas and keeping them clean and safe.
- “Gofers” – Responsible for maintaining the convention in general, will be called upon to provide support in any capacity. Should be able to lift and carry items of 30 lbs. or more.
- Administration – Checking in patrons at ticket stand, managing coat check, and maintaining merchandise tables alongside staff.
Interested Volunteers must be 17 years of age or older by the start of the convention. As a Volunteer, you agree to follow the Code of Conduct of the convention, as well as the Terms and Responsibilities of a Volunteer.
You agree that you are able to attend SpringFestNY 2014 and are capable of getting yourself both to and from the convention. We will have a screening process for Volunteer applications that will be conducted by the SpringFestNY 2014 staff.
